Got one today, in response to (what I believe) my Gumtree ad. The person contacted asking about the condition of the item for sale, then was very quick to decision making and ready to buy. The catch is this person lives afar away and would organise AusPost door-to-door (hhmm.. didnt know they have this service). This person has promised to make a payment through AusPost, and will need me to go to the (fake) website to provide my address and collect money, and a courier will show up at my front door.

Asked for me by name, and when I responded with “what for?” she hung up.

Text saying AusPost tried to delivery a package and to follow the link to have the package redirected or delivered again. Looked legit as they actually spelled AusPost correctly, and the link didnt jump out as dodgy, but was from this number. Folowing the link the first thing that popped straight out was it asked for a ZIP code. lol. Stupid scammers.
